Finally our cat run has been finished! ;-)
Although it is not huge, it does give the cats that extra bit of space, and access to the outside world, where they can come and go as they please via a cat flap into the house. This way they can choose whether they want to be in or out ;-)
We chose to have the run here as the children are too small to trust to close doors/gates etc so we thought it best to have it at the side of the house and by making the run high enough we have made use of the utility roof space too.
At the moment it has few furnishings as John has not long finished building it, so I will take some pictures as it is developing and as more plants/ posts etc are added ;-)
I do hope to get some shots of the cats actually using the run! lol Seems to be everytime I get the camera they disappear!

The cats love the rabbit hutches to sleep in, one is modified with a wooden flap on the front for more shelter when they like to be out but the weathers not great;-)

End of the cat run- As you can see the run lets them have the utility space below aswell as the roof above.

We are adding bits at a time ;-)
Climbing/scratching branch and the rabbit hutch- which is an ideal size for the cats.
The tyres are ideal for the cats to curl up in and to stop the branches from slipping ;-)
